How It Began
I’m a passionate creative - I started writing stories at 5 years old. When I graduated college, I jumped right into office work, and I stayed in that environment for 11 years. I often daydreamed about what it would be like to open my own business - to pursue a career in something that spoke to me personally. It wasn’t until my lay-off in 2023 that I began to think this might be possible.
Prior to opening my business in mid-2024, I was dabbling in freelance work while looking for a new position. By March, it became clear that what I had been presented with was an opportunity to pursue my dream - one that might not come again. And so GeekE Media LLC was formed.
I create compelling stories through the art of creative writing, video editing, and content creation. With over 20 years of writing experience, 4 years of video editing experience, and 4 years of content creation experience, you can be certain that your content will tell the story you envision.
What sets me apart from the rest?
I have a strong background in customer service, project management, and leadership. Many freelancers have missed out on the aspects of traditional office employment that build up professionalism, communication, and time management skills. I will be honest with you if I cannot take your work, whether due to scheduling demands or not having the particular skills you are looking for. I will always ask you a series of clarifying questions before committing to your project to ensure your time is spent effectively. You will never have to chase me down for an update; I will communicate my progress to you every step of the way.
